Education Commission of the States is a non-partisan organization made up of policy makers from 49 states. Its goal is to provide a forum for education information and new ideas, at both the federal and state levels. Policy, news, and current issues reports from early learning through higher education.
The Education Trust is a nonprofit organization that works at all levels to improve k-12 and teacher education. Well-known for its position papers on minority- and low-income student education, look for links to reports and other data on teacher quality and training, school funding, licenses, and homework, too.
