Sojourner Truth Library’s “Everyday is Earth Day” Survey

Earth Day is celebrated every April 22nd, and was started back in 1970 by legislation proposed by senator Gaylord Nelson. On the first Earth Day in 1970 more than 20 million people participated. In present day it is now an international holiday, and more than 1 billion people take part globally. (Bradford 2017)
