Since the inception of the Friends of the Sojourner Truth Library in 1997, more than 1,600 books, reference sets, audio and video recordings, musical scores, and electronic information media have been purchased through the generosity of Friends members. The Friends also fund an annual subscription to JSTOR, one of the most prestigious research databases, which provides access to the full content of more than 400 core scholarly journals in a wide variety of disciplines.
These resources have inspired, stimulated, and advanced the minds of students, faculty, and local residents who use Sojourner Truth Library. Because of your gift, library visitors have access to information and knowledge that will take them on to opportunities we can only imagine. Sojourner Truth Library Annual Reports
Each year, the Dean of Sojourner Truth Library issues a report of the library’s goals and accomplishments, as well as the challenges it faces. This is an insightful view of the growth of the library collection and the development of services designed to meet the needs of library users.
